Our mission is to provide access to books, technology, ideas, information, and other learning opportunities to the students, staff and community at Wayside Elementary.
By providing access to those things, we empower students at Wayside to be 21st Century Learners. They feel safe to take risks by asking questions, which enables them to gain knowledge and create new things individually and collaborativly in small groups.

Kindergarten - 1 book
1st & 2nd - 2 books
3rd, 4th, & 5th - 3 books

All students are responsible for caring for the materials they check out.

All students may keep their books checked out for 2 weeks.

After 2 weeks, they are considered overdue and a notice will go home with the student.

Students may renew a book, as long as it isn't on hold for another student.

Students can place holds on books that are checked out, and will be notified when the book comes in.

All books must be checked out at the circulation desk.

Students are responsible for paying for lost or damaged books, however no fines will be incurred.
